Extras and Additional Charges:
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS: is from $8/10 per day excluding VAT. There is no charge for additional driver in the state of California and for the renters spouse, same-sex spouse, or domestic partner or for the companion driver of a renter with a disability who cannot operate the vehicle. CHILD SEAT: California state laws require children eight years of age or younger, less than 80 pounds in weight, to be in a child restraint device. In Arizona, children five years of age or younger must be in a child restraint device. Driver with children must refer to the current state and city law regarding child passenger safety laws. Child Seats rentals are $7.99 per day, $39.95 per week and $99.95 per month. GPS: The cost of GPS is $11.99 per day. TRAVEL TAB: The cost of s Travel Tab is $21.99 per day. EARLY LATE RETURN: Your confirmed rental rate applies only to the exact reservation period specified. Returning the vehicle early or keeping the vehicle past the confirmed return date subjects you to a higher daily and/or weekly charge as follow: Early Return: The rate will increase by $15.00 USD per day not to exceed the estimated total at the time of rental. Later Return - The rate will increase by $20.00 USD per day each day the vehicle is kept beyond the return date at the time of rental. Please note: The price of optional extras (including equipment, fuel and insurance) are subject to change without notice and local taxes may apply. Optional extras (equipment) are subject to availability and payable at the counter.

•Grace Period - A rental day is each 24 hour time period commencing with the date/time indicated on the rental agreement (contract) at the time of rental. There is a 59 minutes grace period for return. After this grace period full-day charge may apply.

Mandatory Documents and Important Information
The following documents are required to collect the vehicle:
•A printed version of Rental Voucher
•Passport or Identification card
•A valid credit card in the name of the main driver
•A valid driving licence. If you're renting abroad (outside your country of residence, or outside where your license was issued), an international driver's license is usually required regardless of the alphabet.
Driving License: Drivers must be 25 years and have held a valid driving license for a minimum of 12 months.
Young Driver Fees: Young drivers surcharge is not included in the rental price. It is paid in the local currency at the rental desk. If you are between 21 and 24 years old you must pay a young driver surcharge of $10 per day.
Fuel policy
The car rental provider will provide you with a specific level of fuel and you will need to return the vehicle with the same level. Please make sure you check the level reading when you pick up the car.
Missing fuel will be charged on your return. The price per litre charged by the rental agent may be significantly higher than the price at the local service station.
Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk.
Cross Border Information
Vehicles originating in the state of California, can only be driven within the states of Arizona, California, and Nevada. MEX Rent a Car vehicles are not allowed to drive into Mexico Cities/States.
Payment Details
The main driver of the car rental contract must be the cardholder of one of the following valid credit cards: American Express, MasterCard, Visa creditcard.
MEX Rent a Car does not accept payment by Cash, Pre-paid credit cards, Laser, Maestro, Any Visa Debit, or Switch cards. Your credit card must have available funds of estimated amount of rental charges plus $150. At time of rental, credit card funds will be taken as a deposit against rental charges. All required available funds will be captured as a deposit at time of rental. Unused funds will be returned through the credit card processor after vehicle return. Due to bank processing, it can take between 2 to 5 business days to appear on your account when using this form of payment.
In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card for excess and the security deposit stated on this voucher, car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.
